China Everbright Green Environmental Protection (01257.HK) announced that since last year, it has focused on the biomass comprehensive utilization sector and promoted the development strategy of "zero-carbon park + virtual power plant". Up to now, it has landed a total of 10 projects in cities such as Nanjing, Huaian, Changzhou, Xuzhou, Suqian, Suzhou, Lu'an, and Guangzhou, with a total investment of 0.807 billion yuan. These projects include 137.58 MW of roof photovoltaics, 29.47 MWh of energy storage, 1.58 MW of charging stations, and a heating capacity of 276.25 tons per hour. The projects also have a layout of a virtual power plant and a green energy trading platform built with artificial intelligence algorithms, which have been completed and entered the debugging and operation stage.
Zhu Fugang, the CEO of China Everbright Green Environmental Protection, said that the successful implementation of the above projects is proof of the company's deepening of green transformation and response to the national policy call. The company is constructing a zero-carbon park system with "light, storage, charging, cooling, heating, power, hydrogen, cloud, and carbon" as its carrier, and it is expected to become a new growth point.
