During this period, the hotel industry will welcome a large number of tourists, and the overall occupancy rate is expected to reach more than 90 percent. Compared with the occupancy rate of over 90 percent in the summer before the epidemic, the number of hotel rooms has increased after the epidemic. If the occupancy rate can reach 90 percent, it means that it has exceeded the pre-epidemic situation.

Lu Zhiliang believes that with the addition of ten new free travel cities in Mainland China this year, more and more mainland tourists will choose to visit Macau in a free and independent way, and hotel guests will mainly be FITs. At the same time, the number of international tourists is expected to increase.

Regarding hotel room rates, Lu Zhiliang said that the prices of high-star hotels are originally higher and have increased due to increased demand, causing slight adjustments in prices. Overall, room rates during the summer vacation will not skyrocket, and prices slightly higher than normal weekdays are considered normal.

Lu Zhiliang also said that in terms of staffing, after more than a year of adjustment after the epidemic, the current staffing has returned to the pre-epidemic situation, ensuring that there is enough staff to meet the needs of guests during the holiday season.
