Since 1996, Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) has been offering the original brand product “Safmare” decorative sheets for interior and exterior*1” The series is being developed. This product group uses olefin, an environmentally friendly material that hardly generates harmful gases even when incinerated, and uses DNP's unique “EB coating” technology that enhances durability against scratches, wear, stains, sunburn, etc. by curing the functional material applied to it by irradiating EB (electron beam: Electron Beam). Now, as new designs for 2024, 14 new “Safmare WS” designs that are easy to deploy on interior fittings, kitchen, washroom doors, etc., and 6 new “Safmare EB-F” patterns for flooring will go on sale on 2024/7/1 (Monday).
Focusing on grayish colors, which are popular as a trend these days, we have prepared a wide lineup from white to dark tones in line with the diversification of interior styles that are further accelerating both domestically and internationally.

○As the diversification of interior styles accelerates both domestically and internationally, “material mix” space creation using a combination of different materials such as stone, metal, and fabric based on woody materials is spreading. Since basic elements are required for wood materials, the pattern of oak (deciduous broad-leaved tree of the genus Beech family, oak), which is a tree species with a wide range of coordination, has been enhanced in this new pattern, and a wide lineup from white to dark tones has been prepared.

○ New colors have also been added to the abstract pattern series “Raster Feel” by “Safmare WS,” which began being offered in 2023, and has a bold, accentuated design and a calm shine. This expands the range of “raster feel” combinations and makes it possible to create spaces that meet more diverse needs.
○DNP has independently created “5 lifestyles” by analyzing various trends around the world, including Japan, and has been announcing “DNP 5 Styles” every year since 2017, which coordinates spaces with new products for joinery and floor sheets that match them. The latest “DNP 5 Styles 2024” was set this year as well, and a new pattern was developed.
