兄弟工業株式會社（社長：池田和史）將與愛知縣合作，作爲合作伙伴，開展“知多市低碳氫模型城市的可行性調查項目”，以利用城市中的氫能源推動燃料電池製造和銷售企業所做出的貢獻，同意對應用於公共設施等的燃料電池進行評估。

該項目是環境省公開招標的“令和6年度水素供應低成本建模架構，旨在利用既有基礎設施”之一，該項目旨在評估實施低碳氫的可行性，以使愛知縣成爲地區水氫供給點，並使水素供應的成本降低。例如，還將研究廣泛應用的可能性，例如通過向公共設施和住宅等設施提供燃料電池等而不僅僅是向FCV提供氫氣。多個公司和八名愛知縣的企業將與知多市及四家公司共同實施該項目。^*Brother aims to contribute to the decarbonization of the local area and promote the creation of new hydrogen demand and supply systems in collaboration with Aichi Prefecture through this project. This project is one of the adopted projects of the “Feasibility Study for Low-Cost Hydrogen Supply Using Existing Infrastructure in Fiscal 2021” publicized by the Ministry of the Environment. The project aims to evaluate the feasibility of implementing low-carbon hydrogen, make Aichi Prefecture the region's hydrogen supply point, and reduce the cost of hydrogen supply. For example, it will also investigate the possibility of wide-ranging applications, such as supplying fuel cells to public facilities and residences in addition to FCV. Multiple companies and eight companies in Aichi Prefecture will collaborate with Chita City and four companies as joint implementers of this project.

Brother started selling fuel cells that use hydrogen as fuel in 2018. In addition, by branding all of our hydrogen utilization activities as PureEne in 2023, we are actively promoting hydrogen utilization to contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society. Against this background, we agreed to participate as a collaborator in activities aimed at expanding hydrogen demand in this project. With this survey, practical hydrogen demand will be calculated for each application, and further exploration of hydrogen utilization scenes is planned.

Brother will contribute to the decarbonization of the local area and aim to create new hydrogen demand and supply systems in collaboration with Aichi Prefecture through this project.
