Today, we have signed an investment agreement with Toyoco Co., Ltd., a venture company. Toyoco has a mission to achieve a circular society that uses infrastructure such as factories, warehouses, and bridges without destroying them. The company develops and sells 'CoolLaser,' a technology that removes rust and coatings from aging infrastructure with lasers, and operates the 'SOSEI' business, which uses a special three-layer resin spray coating to revive roofs.

The social and industrial infrastructure in Japan was largely constructed during the period of high economic growth, and there is concern that it will rapidly deteriorate in the future. Strategic maintenance, management and updates of infrastructure are required. We also need to maintain and update our electrical utilities infrastructure and anticipate that using 'CoolLaser' will reduce maintenance costs. In addition, the increased strength of roofs resulting from the 'SOSEI' treatment makes it possible to install solar panels and further promote the introduction of renewable energy.
