According to the announcement from Futu Securities International, A.plus Group Holdings Limited (01841) released its annual results for the year ending March 31, 2024, with revenue of approximately HK$125 million, a decrease of approximately 3.0% YoY; net profit of HK$8.613 million, a decrease of approximately 56.9% YoY; and earnings per share of HK$0.0215.
The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was mainly due to a decrease in revenue from the performance announcement and financial report section of approximately HK$5.4 million and a decrease in revenue from the fund document section of approximately HK$2.6 million. However, the reduction was partly offset by an increase in revenue of approximately HK$2.9 million from the Company's performance announcement and shareholder letter section and an increase in revenue of HK$1 million from the announcement of bond and initial public offering prospectus section.
The decrease in net profit was mainly due to a decrease in other income of approximately HK$7.2 million (due to a combined decrease in bad debt provision reversal and trade receivable impairment reversal of approximately HK$6.4 million, and the absence of a government subsidy of approximately HK$2.1 million relating to the "job retention" program under the anti-epidemic fund for the year ending March 31, 2023).
