大日本印刷株式会社（DNP）は、一般社団法人ノーコード推進協会（NCPA）が主催する、「第2回日本ノーコード大賞」の優秀賞を2024年6月21日（金）に受賞しました。

今回、DNPが2023年12月にオープンした「DNP生成AIラボ・東京」^＊1が高く評価されました。DNPはこの拠点を活かして、生成AIに関する最新の技術・情報の調査・分析、プロトタイプの研究・開発、多様なパートナーとの対話と協働などを推進し、新製品・新サービスの創出に努めています。今回の受賞を糧として、生成AIを活用した新しい価値の提供を加速させていきます。

優秀賞を受賞した「DNP生成AIラボ・東京」の取り組みについて

DNPは生成AIを活用した価値創出の活動拠点として、2023年12月4日（月）、東京・市谷に「DNP生成AIラボ・東京」を東京・市谷にオープンしました。この施設では、生成AIに関する情報・技術等の調査・分析やプロトタイプの研究・開発のほか、顧客企業やパートナーとの協働によって、アイデア等の検討段階から新製品・新サービスの創出まで推進しています。生成AIを活かした新たな研究・開発プロセスの確立とともに、各種製品・サービスの開発による新しい価値の提供を目指しています。

生成AIをテーマとするDNPグループ全体の社内コミュニティーには、2,700名以上の社員が主体的に参加しています。これまでに「DNP生成AIラボ・東京」では、300回以上のディスカッションを実施し、1,800件を超える生成AIのユースケース（活用例）を生み出してきました。社外からも200以上の企業等が来館し、40件以上の共創型の実証実験を行っています。

また、ノーコード^＊2開発ツール「AppSheet」のハンズオン（体験型学習）を社内で設計して、社員向けに毎月実施しています。アイデアを出すだけでなく、自ら社会に実装できるようなDX人材の育成を目指しており、これまで200名以上の社員が受講しました。プログラミング未経験者が受講者の61%を占めています。ノーコード開発ツールを積極的に活用することで、約1,800のユースケースのうち150件以上を実際に動く形で具現化してきました。

日本ノーコード大賞について

「日本のソフトウェア文化を変革する」ことをビジョンに掲げ、ノーコードの普及・発展を目指すノーコード推進協会（No Code Promotion Association：NCPA）が、企業・自治体等を対象に、全国の優れたノーコードの取り組みを表彰するコンテストです。一般社団法人日本デジタルトランスフォーメーション推進協会が開催する日本最大級のデジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）コンテスト「日本DX大賞2024」との共同開催で、「日本DX大賞」のエントリー案件のうち、ノーコードを活用することで実現した優れた事例を表彰します。

The facility produced more than 300 discussions and more than 1,800 use cases utilizing generated AI. Over 200 companies and other groups have visited the facility, and more than 40 co-creation proof-of-concept experiments have been conducted. In addition, hands-on workshops (experiential learning) of the no-code development tool "AppSheet" have been designed and conducted every month for employees. With the aim of developing DX human resources who can implement ideas in society themselves, over 200 employees have taken the course, and programming novices account for 61% of the attendees. By actively utilizing the no-code development tool, we have realized 150 or more of the approximately 1,800 use cases.

About DNP Generate AI Lab Tokyo's initiative that won the Excellent Award

On December 4, 2023 (Monday), DNP opened DNP Generate AI Lab Tokyo in Ichigaya, Tokyo, as an activity base for value creation utilizing generated AI. In addition to investigating and analyzing information and technology related to generated AI and conducting research and development of prototypes, the facility promotes the creation of new products and services from the stage of considering ideas in collaboration with customer companies and partners. We aim to realize new value by developing various products and services with the establishment of a new research and development process utilizing generated AI.
