Nisso <1444> announced its third quarter financial results for the third quarter of the 2024 fiscal year (August 23-24). Sales were 3.608 billion yen, operating profit was 88 million yen, ordinary profit was 103 million yen, and net profit for the quarter attributable to the parent company's shareholders was 66 million yen. Since the company has been preparing consolidated financial statements since the end of the previous fiscal year, the year-on-year change in sales for the same quarter is not disclosed.

The Nisso Group has strengthened its existing business by acquiring new customers, implementing various recruitment activities, strengthening its education system for employees, and exploring new areas, such as the start of operations by Japan Resort Bank, which operates a real estate business.

For the remodeling business, the completion construction amount was 3.349 billion yen and the operating profit was 75 million yen due to factors such as the acquisition of new customers and the consolidation of Yanacorporation's income statement from the first quarter of the 2023 fiscal year, when it was consolidated.

For the real estate business, Japan Resort Bank, a subsidiary wholly owned by the company established in the 2023 fiscal year, started its operations, and as a result, the company was able to sell and broker real estate in the group. Sales were 259 million yen and operating profit was 10 million yen.

On the same day, the company announced a revision to its forecast for the full year of the 2024 fiscal year. Sales are expected to increase by 14.6% compared to the previous year to 4.775 billion yen, operating profit is expected to decrease by 39.2% to 90 million yen, ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 26.2% to 105 million yen, and net income for the current period attributable to the parent company's shareholders is expected to decrease by 0.3% to 69 million yen.
