Simply Wall St ·  Jun 16 20:55

We'd be surprised if NV5 Global, Inc. (NASDAQ:NVEE) shareholders haven't noticed that the Executive VP & General Counsel, Richard Tong, recently sold US$293k worth of stock at US$94.00 per share. The eyebrow raising move amounted to a reduction of 16% in their holding.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At NV5 Global

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider sale was by the Executive Vice President, Donald Alford, for US$500k worth of shares, at about US$100 per share. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. It's of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is US$90.05. So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price.
