THE MALAYSIAN ETS3 NEW METRE RAIL CAR, MANUFACTURED BY CHINA CENTRAL CAR (01766.HK) (601766.SH), WAS DEVELOPED BY CHINA CENTRAL CAR (01766.HK) () ON FRIDAY (7TH) TO DEVELOP NEW METRE RAIL CARS TAILORED FOR MALAYSIA AFTER ETS AND ETS2.

The train will operate on the West Coast Line of Malaysia between Patong Baza, the northern border glass city, and Johor Bahru, on the southern border, Johor Bahru. The route will run approximately 950 km with a running speed of 160 km. Train activation will improve the passenger capacity and operational efficiency of the local rail transport network and promote rail transport modernisation in Malaysia.
