On June 5th, the China-Brazil Commercial Seminar was held in Beijing. As a major leader from the Brazilian side attending this conference, Geraldo Alckmin, Vice President of Brazil and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services met with Luckin Coffee's Chairman and CEO, Guo Jinyi, for communication. At the meeting, Guo Jinyi signed a "Memorandum of Cooperation" with representatives from the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Bureau on behalf of Luckin Coffee. Witnessed by senior leaders from China and Brazil, Luckin Coffee signed an "Intention Letter of Cooperation between Luckin Coffee and Multiple Suppliers in Brazil for Coffee Procurement" (hereinafter referred to as the "Intention Letter of Cooperation"). According to relevant agreements, from 2024 to 2025, Luckin Coffee plans to purchase a total of approximately 120,000 tons of coffee beans from relevant coffee-producing areas in Brazil. Both parties will continue to carry out coffee industry cooperation, share industry concepts and industry practice experiences, and promote deepening cooperation in the coffee field with the support of the governments of China and Brazil. Afterwards, Alckmin visited Luckin Coffee's Beijing store and tasted its products, fully recognizing the contribution of Luckin Coffee to promoting Sino-Brazilian coffee trade and the coffee industry development, and expressing appreciation for the high-quality products of Luckin Coffee.

In 2024, it will be the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, and Brazil has now become one of China's most important trading partners. In recent years, the rapid development of the Chinese coffee market has effectively promoted the growth of coffee trade between China and Brazil. Luckin Coffee is an important representative of the Chinese coffee market and an important link in Sino-Brazilian coffee trade. Regarding the signing of the "Memorandum of Cooperation" and the "Intention Letter of Cooperation" this time, Guo Jinyi, Chairman and CEO of Luckin Coffee, said: "We believe that with the deepening of cooperation in Sino-Brazilian coffee trade, Luckin Coffee will bring more high-quality Brazilian coffee beans to China and continually satisfy the high-quality coffee demands of consumers, promoting the quality upgrade and mature development of China's coffee industry."

Brazil is one of the countries in the world with the highest coffee production and export volume. Its unique geographical and climatic conditions give Brazilian coffee beans a unique flavor and excellent quality. The Italian-blend coffee beans that Luckin Coffee has won the gold medal in the IIAC International Coffee Tasting Competition for five consecutive years (2018-2022) are made by blending high-quality Arabica coffee beans from globally renowned producing areas such as Brazil. In 2022, Luckin Coffee signed a three-year purchasing plan in Brazil to purchase a total of approximately 45,000 tons of coffee beans.

Luckin Coffee is one of the largest chain coffee brands in China. With the rapid growth of store numbers and users, there is a higher demand for a stable supply of high-quality coffee beans. By the end of 2023, Luckin Coffee had accumulated 230 million consumption customers; as of March 31, 2024, the total number of Luckin Coffee stores had reached 18,590. To continue to bring high-quality coffee to consumers, Luckin Coffee continuously optimizes its high-quality supply chain and builds vertical supply chain advantages. Luckin Coffee insists on cooperating with global high-quality suppliers and using high-quality coffee beans from globally renowned coffee producing areas. In 2023, it launched the "Global Coffee Bean Sourcing Journey," going deep into the world's high-quality coffee producing areas, tracing high-quality coffee beans, and bringing back the world's best coffee beans to consumers. At the same time, in order to strengthen its quality control capabilities throughout the entire process of coffee beans, Luckin Coffee has continuously increased its upstream industrial chain construction investment. Currently, it has built a fresh fruit processing plant in Baoshan, Yunnan, and two automated roasting bases in Jiangsu and Fujian, forming a self-processing and roasting supply network with an annual output capacity of up to 45,000 tons.

This signing will help to further deepen Sino-Brazilian coffee industry cooperation, promote the development of coffee trade between the two countries, and also effectively promote the construction of Luckin Coffee's global high-quality supply chain. It will continue to bring high-quality, highly convenient, and cost-effective coffee services to consumers, and work hard to build an excellent, world-class century-old coffee brand.
