Recently, the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the results of the 2024 Henan Provincial Green Manufacturing System Construction Review. CIMC's Ling Yu Auto and Zhumadian Huajun Foundry were successfully selected for the provincial “green factory” list.
A “green factory” refers to a key enterprise with a good foundation and strong representation in advantageous industries. It is a factory that achieves “intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, recycling waste, and low carbon energy”, and is the implementing entity of green manufacturing. Building a “green factory” is an important way to promote structural optimization, relief and upgrading of the industrial industry, and improving quality and efficiency.
CIMC's Ling Yu Auto and Zhumadian Huajun Foundry are actively creating green factories. Relying on CIMC's high-end manufacturing theoretical system, Ling Yu Auto has embarked on the path of upgrading intelligent manufacturing for high-end manufacturing system enterprises called “Tianqi Project”. The entire Tianqu Project is divided into three phases, and it took three years to complete the green and intelligent transformation of the three major production processes for special vehicles. The first phase of the project is the overall transformation and automated production schedule of the coating line. It was put into operation in April 2020. It achieved a revolutionary upgrade of the tank truck coating process. While meeting environmental requirements, it greatly improved production efficiency and enterprise operation capacity. As a continuation of the first phase of the project, the second phase of the project was completed and put into operation in May 2021. The second phase of the project is an automated production line for mixer frame welding. The production line incorporates modular product thinking in production line design. The production line uses flexible design to solve tasks such as automated transportation of frames, automated robot welding of workpieces, and environmentally friendly and efficient management of large-scale component welding sites, and the project has been improved in a targeted manner.
Zhumadian Huajun Foundry is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production and service of commercial vehicle parts. It is one of the leading enterprises in the commercial vehicle parts and accessories manufacturing industry in China. Adhering to the concept of “safety, health, and green management”, the company actively responds to the national call for green manufacturing development, and adheres to green manufacturing in the three major production workshops of casting, brake discs and machining. Through green process design, intelligent process control, and the development of green raw materials, the company reduces energy consumption, emissions, and pollution; at the same time, establishes a digital energy carbon management center to achieve refined energy management; and builds distributed rooftop photovoltaic power generation projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Green development is also the undertone for high-quality development. New quality productivity itself is green productivity. CIMC vehicles adhere to the principle of putting environmental protection first, continue to implement low-carbon and green manufacturing, comprehensively build a high-end manufacturing system represented by the “Lighthouse Manufacturing Network”, and apply automated, intelligent and digital environmental emission reduction facilities to all production processes, bringing new momentum to China's high-quality development.
Up to now, CIMC has built 21 “lighthouse” factories at home and abroad, and 5 of its factories have been awarded national “green factories”, namely Dongguan Special Vehicle, Zhumadian Huajun Vehicle, Xi'an CIMC, Ruijiang Tanker, and Yangzhou Tonghua; 4 factories have been awarded provincial “green factories”, namely Gansu CIMC, Shaanxi CIMC, Lingyu Automobile, and Zhumadian Huajun Foundry; Liangshan Dongyue has won the title of “Municipal Green Management Enterprise” in Jining; 2 supply chain plants have been awarded the title of “National Green Management Enterprise” These are Ruijiang tankers and Zhumadian Huajun vehicles; 3 national “specialized, special and new” little giants The companies are: Jiangmen Tanker, Gansu CIMC, and Zhumadian Huajun Foundry; Shandong CIMC won the provincial “Specialized and New” Little Giant Enterprise; and Ruijiang Tanker won the “Anhui Provincial People's Government Quality Award”.
Green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains. In the future, CIMC Vehicles will always adhere to green production and low-carbon manufacturing, stimulate new productivity through green development, move steadily forward on the path of sustainable development, and lead the high-quality development of the industry.
