NCD <4783> announced consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending 2024/3 on the 13th. Sales increased 11.5% from the previous fiscal year to 25.481 billion yen, operating profit increased 76.9% to 2.115 billion yen, ordinary profit increased 76.5% to 2.140 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders increased 106.4% to 1,387 billion yen.

Sales in the system development business increased 12.7% from the previous fiscal year to 10.421 billion yen, and segment profit increased 49.2% to 1,541 billion yen. Sales increased compared to the same period last year due to the expansion of business areas in system development projects for new products of insurance companies and core system renewal projects in the manufacturing industry, etc., and remained steady. In terms of profit, profits increased significantly compared to the same period last year due to the fact that profits were expanded smoothly through various project management, and mainly due to the fact that the transition to an NCD service model progressed and profitability improved in application maintenance work.

Sales in the support & service business increased 12.2% from the previous fiscal year to 7.735 billion yen, and segment profit increased 21.0% from the same period to 851 million yen. Sales increased compared to the same period last year due to the expansion of insurance companies' cloud-related business areas, etc. In terms of profit, profit increased compared to the same period last year due to the fact that various project management is going well, and efficient operation utilizing managed service centers has been realized in line with the transition to an NCD service model.

Sales in the parking systems business increased 9.3% from the previous fiscal year to 7.297 billion yen, and segment profit increased 57.1% to 1,284 billion yen. In addition to the relaxation of various regulations relating to infectious diseases, opportunities to go out increased due to being blessed with the weather, and mainly the use of hourly bicycle parking lots increased. Furthermore, fee revisions continued to be promoted mainly at self-operated bicycle parking lots, and sales increased compared to the previous fiscal year due to the fact that bicycle parking lot usage fee revenue greatly exceeded the level before the spread of infectious diseases, etc. In terms of profit, in response to a drastic increase in bicycle parking fee revenue, the profitability of bicycle parking lots was greatly improved, and efforts to in-house manufacture of outsourced operations utilizing group subsidiaries also contributed, resulting in a significant increase in profit compared to the previous fiscal year.

Regarding the consolidated earnings forecast for the full year ending 2025/3, we expect sales to increase 9.9% from the previous fiscal year to 28.00 billion yen, operating profit up 4.0% to 2.200 billion yen, ordinary profit up 2.8% to 2.200 billion yen, and net income attributable to parent company shareholders to increase 4.5% to 1,450 billion yen.
