Companhia De Saneamento Basico Do Estado De Sao (SBS) has released an update.
Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo – SABESP reported a strong start to 2024 with a 19.4% increase in adjusted EBITDA, reaching R$ 2.43 billion in the first quarter, and a notable 10.2% rise in net income to R$ 823.3 million compared to the same period last year. Revenue from sanitation services grew by 15.3%, driven by tariff adjustments and increased billed volume. Additionally, the company took measures to mitigate financial risks from foreign currency debt through derivative financial agreements valid until December 2024.
