Grupo Financiero Galicia (GGAL) has released an update.
Grupo Financiero Galicia S.A. conducted its Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting via Microsoft Teams on April 30, 2024, with an 80.58% quorum, approving all agenda items including the use of videoconferencing for meetings, financial statements, and dividend distributions. Shareholders agreed to a significant cash dividend of Ps. 65,000,000,000 and the allocation of funds to a Legal and a Discretionary Reserve, with further authorization for the Board of Directors to manage these reserves under certain conditions. Additionally, the meeting covered the compensation for the Supervisory Syndics’ Committee, directors’ fees, appointment of syndics and directors for new terms, and the election of an independent accountant for the upcoming fiscal year.
