On April 23, Ge Longhui | China Everbright Water (01857.HK) issued an announcement that the company's wholly-owned subsidiary issued asset-backed securities (“asset-backed securities”) with a principal amount of RMB 2 billion to eligible institutional investors in mainland China under the Special Asset Support Plan (“Asset Support Special Plan”). A special asset support plan has been established and will take effect on April 23, 2024, and interest will be accrued on the same day. Asset-backed securities will pay interest on a quarterly basis and the principal amount will be amortized on a quarterly basis in a fixed amount. Asset-backed securities are expected to be listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in May 2024, subject to approval by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
