China Eastern Airlines handled ground services for Chinese Grand Prix

As the major ground service provider of the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix facilities, China Eastern Airlines handled the ground support service for five cargo flights of the grand prix from April 8 to April 18, carrying 167 pallets of cargo weighing 438 tons, according to the Shanghai-based carrier.

Since the arrival of the cargo flight KE315 on April 9 loaded with 68 tons of race car parts and equipment, China Eastern has handled five all-cargo flights as of Thursday, ensured a total of 438 tons of vehicles and facilities for the grand prix being handled efficiently and properly.

China Eastern is also tasked to ensure the transportation of the racing cars and equipment after the conclusion of the Formula 1.

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, with the event taking place in Shanghai from Friday to Sunday.
