Nordstrom announced that Lori Marten has been appointed executive vice president and general merchandising manager of Nordstrom Rack. In this role, Marten will lead the Rack’s merchandising team and drive the merchandise strategy. As a leader with over 25 years of retail experience, Marten has served in merchandising roles across various areas of Nordstrom’s business, including accessories, home, specialized and men’s. Most recently, she was senior vice president and divisional manager of the company’s men’s and women’s specialized, active and performance outerwear categories.

Boohoo

Siobhan Forey, chief people officer of Boohoo Group, has reportedly stepped down after three years. Boohoo declined to confirm or deny the news. Forey joined the group in March 2021 after spending 20-plus years in senior HR roles at Arcadia Group.

Denim purveyor Levi Strauss announced it has appointed Gianluca Flore as executive vice president and chief commercial officer, effective July 29. Reporting to Michelle Gass, president and chief executive officer, Flore will join the company’s executive leadership team and will be responsible for the commercial operations of the Levi’s brand across all global channels, including stores, e-commerce and wholesale.
