According to the Zhitong Finance App, Qiangtai Environmental Protection (01395) announced its 2023 results, achieving operating income of HK$113 million, a year-on-year decrease of 44.4%; loss attributable to shareholders was HK$8.265 million, a year-on-year decrease of 49.17%; and a basic loss of HK$0.75 per share.
The decline in revenue was mainly due to (i) the decline in construction revenue generated by the Bangka Island project in FY2023; and (ii) the sale of the non-wholly-owned subsidiary Haian Hengfa in FY2022.
