Recently, the prototype of the world's first four-seater hydrogen internal combustion aircraft successfully flew for the first time at Faku Caihu Airport in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. According to information, the main core components of this first flight were initially localized, and the engine power reached 120 kW after bench testing. Previously, the verification aircraft of this model completed verification and test flights at an airport in Shenyang in March of last year. It is the first general aviation aircraft independently developed by China to be powered by a hydrogen internal combustion engine.

As a clean secondary energy source, hydrogen energy will surely become an important component of China's energy structure and a strong complement to the new power system in the context of the global low-carbon energy transition. Shenwan Hongyuan Securities said that in terms of policy, governments in many parts of the country have introduced policies to support hydrogen energy-related industries, and Anhui, Jilin, Hainan, Guangzhou, Qinghai and other places have introduced short-term or medium- to long-term action plans to achieve goals in terms of total hydrogen energy industry output value, fuel vehicles, hydrogen fueling stations, and number of advanced manufacturing enterprises. According to Sinopec's “China Hydrogen Energy Industry Outlook Report”, China's hydrogen energy consumption will reach nearly 86 million tons in 2060, and the scale of the industry will reach 4.6 trillion yuan. At that time, the share of non-fossil energy in China's energy consumption structure dedicated to hydrogen production will increase from 1% in 2022 to 93%, of which wind energy and solar energy will account for 2/3 of hydrogen production.

According to the Finance Federation's theme library, among the relevant listed companies:

Lingyun Co., Ltd. has begun joint research with some customers on hydrogen transportation through PE pipes, and hydrogen transportation through PE pipelines is theoretically feasible. The battery cases produced by the company can be used in hydrogen fuel cells, and actively participate in the design and production of related customers.

The Yinglite Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generation Project uses electrolyzed water to produce hydrogen gas.
