Dynamic Metals Ltd (ASX:DYM) has identified two new lithium trends at the Franks Far Southeast and Spargos East prospects, part of the larger Widgiemooltha Project in the Goldfields of Western Australia.
The new trends were identified with 880 soil samples taken as part of ongoing reconnaissance across the company’s entire portfolio.
As the soil anomalies are both large – over 1 kilometre in strike and between 300 to 600 metres wide – and register lithium-in-soil grades of more than 100 parts per million (ppm), the company will follow up with more infill soil sampling and drilling early this year.
Reconnaissance program
Dynamic is systematically exploring for lithium potential across its entire land package.
The two new lithium targets identified in this latest round of soil results sit at the Franks Far Southeast prospect, with the south-most target of particular interest due to strong evidence of lithium mineralisation in historical rock chip sampling, which assayed up to 2,172 ppm lithium oxide.
Results from maiden soil sampling program at Franks Far Southeast lithium prospect, Widgiemooltha Project.
From here, Dynamic intends to complete infill soil sampling programs across the Spargos East, Franks Far Southeast and Pioneer Dome prospects to refine potential drill targets.
The company will also review and pursue any requirements for permitting in preparation for drilling at the project.
