FSBM Holdings Berhad (FSBM) said that the subscription applications for its rights issue, part of its regularisation plan, have surpassed expectations, reaching a subscription rate of 449.57%.

At the close of the acceptance period, a total of 1.06 billion rights shares were accepted, representing 449.57% of the total available for subscription under the rights issue with warrants.

The rights issue included 236.66 million rights shares at an issue price of 3 sen per rights share, with up to 118.33 million free warrants issued on the basis of 1 warrant for every 2 rights shares subscribed.

The proceeds from this Rights Issue will primarily support the expansion of the group's existing IT services business and working capital needs.
