(TSXV: RENT.P) ("Shine Box") announces that the previously announced letter of intent between Shine Box and Electro Metals & Mining Inc. ("Electro") dated February 16, 2023, in respect of the proposed business combination transaction between Shine Box and Electro (the "Proposed Transaction") has been terminated in accordance with its terms. The Proposed Transaction was expected to constitute the "Qualifying Transaction" of Shine Box, as such term is defined in TSX Venture Exchange Policy 2.4 - Capital Pool Companies.

Shine Box has re-engaged in the process of identifying and evaluating assets or businesses with a view to completing a Qualifying Transaction. Shine Box has applied to the TSX Venture Exchange to resume trading of the common shares of Shine Box (trading symbol "RENT.P"), which were previously halted from trading pending completion of the Proposed Transaction.
