VANCOUVER, BC, July 20, 2023 /CNW/ - Elevation Gold Mining Corp. (TSXV: ELVT) (OTCQX: EVGDF) (the "Company" or "Elevation Gold") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alan Edwards to the Board of Directors of the Company, effective July 20, 2023.

Mr. Edwards has more than 40 years of diverse mining industry experience, including various executive and director roles. He is currently the President of AE Resources Corp. and is a member of the board of directors for Entrée Resources Ltd., where he is Chairman of the Board, Americas Gold and Silver Corporation (Chairman of the Sustainability & Technical Committee), and Arizona Sonoran Copper Company Inc. (Chairman of the Technical and Sustainability Committee). Mr. Edwards was formerly a director and Chairman of the board of directors of AuRico Gold Inc., AQM Copper Inc., Oracle Mining Corp. (where he was also the Chief Executive Officer), Rise Gold Corp., and a director of Orvana Minerals Corp. His extensive operating experience includes positions of President and Chief Executive Officer of Copper One Inc. and Frontera Copper Corp., COO of Apex Silver Mines Corp., and executive positions at Kinross Gold Corp., P.T. Freeport Indonesia, Cyprus Amax Minerals Company and Phelps Dodge Mining Company. Mr. Edwards holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Arizona and a B.S. Mining Engineering also from the University of Arizona.

Stock Option Grant

The Company reports that stock options have been granted to directors, officers, and employees of the Company to purchase up to an aggregate of 300,000 common shares at a price of C$0.18 per share for a period of five years.
