According to the Zhitong Finance App, Direct Telecom (08337) announced its 2022 results, with revenue of approximately HK$152 million, an increase of about 1.1% over the previous year. The loss attributable to the company's shareholders was approximately HK$123.17 million, a year-on-year decrease of approximately 13.3%. The basic and diluted losses per common share were HK6.66 cents without dividends.

According to the announcement, the increase in earnings was mainly due to increased revenue from the distribution business in Singapore. The reduction in losses was mainly due to a sharp reduction in impairment losses on property, plant and equipment.
