11:55 PM EDT, 03/23/2023 (MT Newswires) -- Sembcorp Marine (SGX:S51) said the Comptroller General of Brazil has started a "preliminary administrative liability proceeding" against its unit, Estaleiro Jurong Aracruz.
The proceedings relate to the investigation of "alleged irregularities" carried out by Estaleiro, according to a Friday release.
The marine and offshore engineering group said it cannot assess the impact of these proceedings at the moment.
Sembcorp Marine's shares were down 6% recently.
