Sembcorp Marine Delivers Second Eighth-Generation Drillship to Transocean Unit胜科海事向越洋部队交付第二艘第八代钻探船
11:38 PM EST, 12/28/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Sembcorp Marine (SGX:S51) has delivered the second eighth-generation drillship to Triton Titan, a unit of American oil and gas wells drilling company Transocean, according to a Thursday release.
Named Deepwater Titan, the drillship is based on Sembcorp Marine's Jurong Espadon 3T design. Its delivery follows the delivery of the first newbuild eighth-generation drillship, Deepwater Atlas, by the company earlier this year.
Following its delivery, the drillship is scheduled for deployment on a five-year contract in the US Gulf of Mexico.
