Greg Greg Abel, who will succeed Mr Buffett as chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway, spent more than $68 million on shares in the company last week after he sold his stake in Berkshire Hathaway for $870 million. Abel, 60, said he bought 168 Berkshire Class A shares on behalf of his family trust at a price of more than $405000 each, according to four regulatory filings. Abel previously owned five Berkshire Class A shares and 2363 Class B shares, according to regulatory filings.
