04:36 AM EDT, 03/25/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Shangri-La Asia's (SGX:S07, HKG:0069) net loss attributable to owners narrowed to $290.6 million in 2021, from $460.2 million a year ago.
Loss per share for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, 2021 fell down to $0.0813, from $0.1289 in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday bourse disclosure.
Consolidated revenue for the period jumped 20.1% year over year to $1.24 billion, from $1.03 billion, mainly due to an increase in the company's hotel operations and an increase in investment properties.
The hospitality group did not declare any dividend for the reporting period.
Shangri-La Asia's Singapore shares were down 4% in recent trade.
