On December 10, Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted that he was considering quitting his job to become a full-time influencer and asked netizens what they thought.
Some netizens gave him suggestions; it would be better to go to YouTube to do a video or live broadcast, but Musk said he couldn't do this; the technology was too good. However, some of his fans seem to be YouTuber bosses saying they can help him.
It's unclear if Musk actually wants to step down from his position.
According to reports, Musk said in a January conference call that he expects to be Tesla's CEO for “a few years.”
Last month, he asked his fans on Twitter if he should sell 10% of his Tesla stock; most people think he should sell the stock. Since then, he has sold nearly $12 billion worth of stock.
Before the market, Tesla fell about 2%.
