Vanguard Investments Canada Announces Estimated 2021 Annual Capital Gains Distributions for the Vanguard ETFs(R)

TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2021

TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2021 /CNW/ - Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. today announced the estimated annual capital gains distributions for the Vanguard ETFs listed below for the 2021 tax year. Please note that these are estimated amounts only, as of October 29, 2021, and reflect forward-looking information which may cause the estimates to change before the ETFs' December 15, 2021 year-end tax date.

These estimates are for the year-end capital gains distributions only, which will be re-invested and the resulting units immediately consolidated, so that the number of units held by each investor will not change. These estimates do not include estimates of ongoing monthly or quarterly cash distribution amounts.

Vanguard expects to announce the final year-end distribution amounts on or about December 22, 2021. The ex-dividend date for the 2020 annual distributions will be December 30, 2021. The record date for the 2021 annual distributions will be December 31, 2021 and payable on January 10, 2022.

Please note that for the VBU, VBG and VGAB ETFs, Vanguard expects to announce the final year-end distribution amounts on or about December 17, 2021. The ex-dividend date for the 2021 annual distributions for these ETFs (VBU, VBG and VGAB) will be December 23, 2020. The record date for the VBU, VBG and VGAB ETFs will be December 24, 2021 and payable on January 5, 2022.
