In the third quarter of 2021, the world's major stock indexes fell more or less. As of September 28:
India's SENSEX30 performed the best, rising 13.69% during the quarter;
The three major US stock indices were inferior to the second quarter. The Dow fell nearly 0.6%, and the S&P 500 Index and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose 1.28% and 0.29% respectively;
The performance of Hong Kong's three major indices was at the bottom. The Hang Seng Index fell 15%, the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 23.6%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 18.22%.
In terms of valuation, looking at the dynamic price-earnings ratio on September 28, the Sci-Tech Innovation 50 and GEM indices had the highest valuations, more than 50 times; the Nasdaq Composite Index and the Hang Seng Technology Index both ranked higher, more than 30 times; and the price-earnings ratios of the Russian and Brazilian indices were relatively low.
