China Everbright International(00257-HK) announced that for the six months ended June 30, 2017, the company had achieved revenue of HK$9.142 billion (same unit below), an increase of about 69% over the previous year; gross profit of approximately $3,308 million, an increase of 46.89% over the previous year; the company's shareholders' profit was $1,796 million, up 49% year on year; profit per share was HK40.06 cents; and dividends of HK12 cents have been paid.

The main business of the Group is construction and environmental energy project operation, environmental water project operation, green environmental protection project operation, environmental protection technology research and development, provision of environmental protection related technical services, design of environmental protection projects, manufacture and sale of environmental protection project equipment, waste treatment and landfill operation, and investment holding.
