At its Annual General Meeting on January 5, 2024, Hope Education adopted resolutions including adoption of financial statements, re-election of directors, renewal of auditors, and share issues and repurchases. At the meeting, all of the proposed resolutions received over 50% shareholder support, of which the special resolution to change the name of the company received more than 75% of the votes in favor, changing the name of the company in English from “Hope Education Group Co., Ltd.” to “XJ International Holdings Co., Ltd.” , the Chinese name was changed from “Hope Education Group Limited” to “Xiao International Holdings Limited”. Some directors were unable to attend the Annual General Meeting due to public duties. The Company has issued a total number of ordinary shares of 8,224,974,706 shares, and no shares have waived voting rights under the Listing Rules. After the meeting, the Company Secretary Wong Chung-chai, represented the Board of Directors, issued this announcement.
