Govt Announces Updated Fuel Prices For Jan 9 To Jan 15
The Ministry of Finance has announced updated retail fuel prices for the week of Jan 9 to Jan 15, 2025, in line with global crude oil price trends.
財政部已公佈2025年1月9日至1月15日的零售燃料價格,符合全球WTI原油價格趨勢。
The retail price of RON97 petrol has been increased by 5 sen to RM3.33 per litre, up from RM3.28 per litre. Meanwhile, the retail price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre.
RON97汽油的零售價格上漲了5仙,達到每升RM3.33,從每升RM3.28上升。與此同時,RON95汽油的零售價格保持不變,仍爲每升RM2.05。
For diesel, the price in Peninsular Malaysia has been raised by 5 sen to RM3.03 per litre, compared to RM2.98 per litre previously.
在馬來半島,柴油價格上漲了5仙,達到每升RM3.03,而之前爲每升RM2.98。
However, the diesel price in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan remains steady at RM2.15 per litre.
然而,沙巴、砂拉越和納閩的柴油價格保持在每升RM2.15不變。
The Ministry noted that the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia continues to be lower than the RM3.35 per litre recorded when the floating price mechanism was first implemented on 10 June 2024.

The pricing adjustments are determined through the weekly Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula.
