Keppel Installs Gas Turbine at SG's First Hydrogen-compatible Cogeneration Plant

Keppel has completed the installation of a gas turbine at the Keppel Sakra Cogen Plant, Singapore's first hydrogen-compatible cogeneration power plant.

In a statement, the company said the turbine will improve the efficiency of the 600-megawatt (MW) combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant. The facility will also be able to produce steam for use in industrial processes for energy and chemicals customers on Jurong Island.

The CCGT plant is currently 80% complete and is on track to commence operations in the first half of 2026.
