Porsche Recalls Nearly 16K Taycan EVs In China Citing Fire Risk
The regulator also advised Taycan customers to limit charging their EVs to 80% prior to the fixes being implemented. German automaker Porsche is recalling 15,906 Taycan electric vehicles in China owing to fire risks, the country's State Administration for Market Regulation said.

What Happened: A short circuit may occur inside the high-voltage power battery module which may pose a fire risk, the regulator said. As for a temporary solution, the company's dealers will test the high-voltage power batteries and replace them free of charge if any issues are identified.
