Since institutional investors own more than half the issued stock, the board will likely have to pay attention to their preferences. F.N.B is not owned by hedge funds. The company's largest shareholder is BlackRock, Inc., with ownership of 12%. The Vanguard Group, Inc. is the second largest shareholder owning 11% of common stock, and Fuller & Thaler Asset Management, Inc. holds about 7.7% of the company stock. Additionally, the company's CEO Vincent Delie directly holds 0.5% of the total shares outstanding.
