■SDGs・ESG・CSR implementation

NeedsWell <3992> is engaged in activities from two aspects in SDGs・ESG・CSR. One is the approach that directly links to the business itself incorporating the perspective of SDGs・ESG・CSR, and the other is the approach that supports a sustainable society through systems and support activities.

1. Approach directly linked to the business

Regarding the approaches directly linked to the business from the perspective of SDGs・ESG・CSR, they are promoting 'Nearshore development promotion', 'Development of new solutions to assist DX', and 'Business growth through partnership promotion'.

'Nearshore development promotion' positions 'Nagasaki Development Center', which was established in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture in October 2019, as one of the growth strategies of SDGs sustainable management and medium-term management plan, aiming to contribute to the creation of a rich city through the utilization of excellent local talents, industrial infrastructure and technological innovation, and job creation, etc. They are working on initiatives such as being certified as the first registered company of Nagasaki Prefecture SDGs Registration system and participate in the 'Local Creation SDGs Public-Private Cooperation Platform' established by the Cabinet Office.

'Development of new solutions to assist DX' aims to solve the problem of hindering the realization of DX due to the existence of individually constructed systems or the excessive customization that makes systems complex and black boxes. They will contribute to the construction of the industrial infrastructure of the digital society by assisting DX through the construction of platforms using AI technology, provision of systems, data analysis, and collaboration realization of RPA, etc., and realizing labor saving of work.

'Business growth through partnership promotion' aims to establish a system that can be developed long-term by collaborating and cooperating with various companies. They build partnership relationships with companies such as IT for <4743>, Canon IT Solutions Inc., Asentech <3565>, Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd., Sakura Information Systems Co., Ltd., Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company, Connection Inc., Mitsubishi Research Institute DCS Co., Ltd., etc. while promoting partnership with group companies, orderers/suppliers, and expanding sales, accepting orders, products, and technicians to demonstrate synergy, and aim to develop long-term together.

2. Initiatives to support systems and support activities.

The company is working on work-style reforms and human resource development, such as 'Paid vacation acquisition encouragement day' which encourages employees to take planned vacations, 'Premium Friday' which encourages employees to leave early on the last Friday of each month to enjoy hobbies and spend a rich time with their families, 'Reduction of overtime hours', 'Training system/motivation enhancement system', and 'Communication enhancement system'. They also introduced 'Double Job System,' 'In-house FA System,' and 'Workplace Return Support System' to support placement in appropriate workplaces and motivation improvement.

(1) Double Job System

It is a system that allows you to experience work that you are interested in outside your department. The goal is to develop a new career that suits you while acquiring new specialized knowledge and flexible response capabilities by engaging in tasks in an environment different from your department and aiming to increase motivation by building new human relationships and touching on diverse values. If the interested party desires and the receiving department can receive it, it is possible to work on other department's tasks with around 30% of the interested party's workload as a guide. It started in April 2023 for the management department staff.

(2) In-house FA system

It is a system in which employees can apply for a transfer to a recruitment project by themselves. The purpose is to develop a broad perspective by engaging in new tasks, and to promote further capacity development and career advancement. They can also touch on new technology and knowledge in projects related to their interests and enhance motivation. It started in October 2023 for all employees.

(3) Workplace return support system

It is a system that prepares the best job for the person by hearing from the employee who wants to return to work, considering the opinions of superiors, industrial physicians, etc. Since they work on the same tasks as before returning to work in their affiliated department, it prevents mental health problems caused by another sick leave. It started in October 2023. Additionally, they have decided to introduce the 'Comeback system' as a reemployment system for retirees starting in April 2024.

此外,我們還積極推進“面向學生的人工智能編程教室”和“足球J聯賽‘V- 長崎岡雷納’的贊助活動”。
