The second volume of The Macallan Legends series released

On the occasion of its 200th anniversary this year, the Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky brand is presenting the second volume of the Macallan Legends Series. This is another masterpiece after the launch of the product line in 2021 and the release of the first product. The second volume was created to pay tribute to Alexander Reid (Alexander Reid), the founder of Macallan, and tells in detail the extraordinary life of this legendary man from his status as a teacher and McNone to becoming a master whiskey producer. This single malt whiskey was carefully created by Euan Kennedy (Euan Kennedy), a master producer of Macallan whiskey. Distilled in 1949, it was finally bottled in 2022. The wine ages quietly, and the rich fragrance of wild forest fruits mixed with sweet wood smoke, ancient oak, and nutmeg gives it a very rich sense of hierarchy. The smoky notes that accompany the long finish recreate the typical flavors of whiskey from the time Alexander Reed lived.

The whiskey is housed in a crystal bottle handmade by Lalique, France, and the bottle is cleverly hidden in a unique yearbook. This yearbook, which can be described as a piece of art, tells the legendary life of founder Alexander Reed, and is furnished with beautiful illustrations by famous English illustrator Andrew Davidson (Andrew Davidson). In addition, English ancient manual bookbinders Shepherds, Sangorski & Sutcliffe, and Zaehnsdorf handcrafted a beautiful “package” for the second volume of The Macallan Legends series, an 800-page yearbook containing wine bottles. To celebrate the release of volume two of the legendary series, Macallan carefully crafted an animated short film with diorama effects that vividly tells the legendary story of Alexander Reed. The short film uses a series of illustrations drawn by Andrew Davidson and features a modern folk song tailored for the short film by famous Scottish composer Craig Armstrong.

Shake Shack launches Michelin Star Chef series burgers and milkshakes

To celebrate its 5th anniversary in mainland China, Shake Shack, a popular burger brand from New York, brought its world-renowned chef collaboration event to Shanghai and Beijing for the first time, and teamed up with Ling Long Chef Jason Liu Hesen to launch the Michelin Star Chef series of burgers and milkshakes, which will be sold in limited quantities at Shake Shack Shanghai Xintiandi on May 18 and at Shake Shack Beijing's Sanlitun Taikoo Li store on May 25. Hilton Garden Inn reached 30 contracts in the first quarter

Hilton Garden Inn, a high-end select service brand under the Hilton Group, has repeatedly broken new records for business development in China. It reached 30 project contracts in the first three months of 2024. The brand will enter 12 new destinations, including Ordos, Taizhou, Zhanjiang, Chengde, etc., to further expand its layout.
