Covenant Logistics Group, Inc. recently appointed Dustin Koehl as their new Chief Operating Officer, effective May 13, 2024. Koehl brings over 17 years of experience in transportation, previously working in senior roles at U.S. Xpress, Inc. and Total Transportation of Mississippi. His compensation includes a $425,000 base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive severance package. With his appointment, current President M. Paul Bunn steps down as principal operating officer. Koehl’s background includes significant contributions to the industry, such as his work with Waabi and partnerships with MIT’s FreightLab.
