Singtel-owned Optus taps TPG Telecom for local network sharing agreement
April 29 (Reuters) - Singapore Telecommunications' Australian unit Optus has struck a deal with local rival TPG Telecom to provide access to its local radio network in regional Australia, the telecom operators said in a joint statement on Monday. As a part of the regional Multi-Operator Core Network agreement, the TPG will have access to 2,444 Optus mobile network sites in regional Australia.
