According to the Zhitong Finance App, Walnut Capital (00905) announced results for the year ended December 31, 2023, with earnings of HK$165,000, a year-on-year decrease of 78.2%; net loss of HK$25.294 million, a year-on-year narrowing of 78.4%; and a basic loss of HK3.61 cents per share.

In 2023, the Group obtained a reduction in losses attributable to company owners, mainly due to a reduction of approximately HK$86.7 million in losses due to changes in the fair value of financial assets recorded at fair value through profit and loss accounts; and a reduction of approximately HK$5.5 million in administrative expenses and other operating expenses.
