According to the Zhitong Finance App, Lion Rock Group (01127) announced its 2023 results, with revenue of approximately HK$2,563 million, up 3% year on year; profit attributable to company owners was HK$185 million, a year-on-year decrease of 15.76%; basic earnings per share were HK$24.97 cents, with a proposed final dividend of HK$0.08 per common share.

According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was due to the annual revenue contribution of Griffin Press, an Australian company acquired in June 2022, and the merger of the previous joint venture Quarto as a subsidiary in April 2022. The decrease in profit was mainly due to the fact that Quarto was not confirmed as an associated company in 2022, resulting in a one-time revenue of HK$31 million.
