Singapore REITs' DPU Could Grow 9.6% This Year, OCBC Says -- Market Talk

0741 GMT - Singapore REITs could record average DPU growth of 9.6% this year, as the country's gradual relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions provide support, OCBC Research says. Growth may fall to 8.1% in 2022 as low-base effects further dissipate. The bank recommends retail and hospitality REITs, including Ascott Residence Trust, CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust, Frasers Centrepoint Trust and Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust, which seem well-placed for a share-price recovery as the country reopens. However, OCBC also recommends defensive stocks that could be less susceptible to possible future Covid-19 restrictions.
