According to the Zhitong Finance App, Agile Group (03383) released its results for the first half of 2017. The company achieved turnover of RMB 22.315 billion (same unit), a year-on-year decrease of 1.1%; net profit of 1,859 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 207.9%; basic earnings per share of RMB 0.479; and plans to distribute HK22.0 cents per share.

In the first half of the year, the Group's gross profit increased by 84.4% year on year, and the overall gross margin and net profit margin increased to 37.3% and 10.3%. The increase in gross margin was mainly due to an increase in the proportion of projects with higher profits. On the other hand, the company's sales and marketing costs as a percentage of revenue fell to 3.7%, while administrative expenses as a percentage of revenue rose to 3.3%, down 0.9 percentage points and an increase of 0.4 percentage points, respectively, from the same period last year.

In the first half of the year, the Group's cumulative pre-sale amount was 40.390 billion yuan, up 42.0% year on year; the cumulative pre-sale construction area was 3.245,000 square meters, up 13.3% year on year; the average pre-sale price was 12,400 yuan per square meter, up 25.3% year on year.

In terms of land reserves, on June 30, 2017, the Group had land reserves with an estimated total construction area of 3.63 million square meters in 45 cities and regions.
