AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF CHINA BUILDING MATERIALS CO., LTD. ON 29 APRIL 2024, FORMALLY APPROVED THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. CHAN SHAOLONG AS A NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. Mr. CHAN Shaolong will be in line with the current Board of Directors and may be re-elected consecutively. The reappointment takes effect after Ms. Fan Xiaoyuan resigned due to job adjustments, and Ms. Fan has acknowledged that there is no disagreement with the Board of Directors. Mr. CHAN Shaolong has extensive experience in financial management, has worked for several companies and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management in Accounting and a qualification as a Senior Accountant. During his tenure, he will not receive any director's remuneration from China Construction Materials, has no affiliation with the company or other members of the group, nor has he held a director position in any listed company for the past three years.
