Ouyang Minggao, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, stated at the Electric Vehicle 100 Forum that sales of Electric Vehicles are expected to exceed 16 million units by 2025, after which there will be a period of stable growth. The annual growth rate will decline, but the ownership will significantly increase, reaching an estimated 1 to 0.16 billion units by 2030. In 2030, L4-level fully autonomous Passenger Vehicles based on advanced end-to-end large models will be commercially scaled in the mid-to-high end Passenger Vehicle market. Ouyang Minggao also pointed out that China's auto market is gradually shifting from a previous incremental market to a cyclical major change towards a stock market. A zero-sum game is forming between Electric and RBOB Gasoline vehicles, and a disruptive change in the market pattern is expected within 3-4 years.
