Lamborghini President and CEO Steven Winkolman said in an interview that until now, all-electric supercars have not sold well, and “it is still too early (to achieve full electrification).” Wincolman said, “The performance of electric vehicles will not be an issue, but some emotional aspects — such as the sound of the Huracan V10 engine — cannot be replicated.” He noted that Lamborghini would be willing to use e-fuel if regulations become more favorable.
