China CITIC Bank Corporation has nominated Wei Qiang as a candidate for non-executive Director.

On the evening of June 20, China CITIC Bank Corporation (601998) announced that the Board of Directors agreed to nominate Wei Qiang as a candidate for the non-executive Director of the seventh Board of Directors of the bank and agreed to submit the proposal to the bank's shareholders' meeting for the election of Wei Qiang as the non-executive Director. Wei Qiang will officially assume the position of Director from the date he is elected by the shareholders' meeting and approved by the regulatory authorities for his qualification, serving until the term of the seventh Board of Directors expires. According to the compensation policy for Directors of the seventh Board of Directors approved at the bank's 2023 annual shareholders' meeting, Wei Qiang will not receive any Director allowances from the bank during his tenure as a non-executive Director.
